Ten shallow wells were rehabilitated in six villages of the El Bur district.
Local people dug the wells without proper aprons and no animal troughs and the well lining is not constructed according to the standard.
The sanitation was very poor. Small children come watering used to fail down despite the wells being deep enough to harm

Sococo.co rehabilitated Cawsweyne Deep Bore well 2008. The well was using an old chines generator and 5.5Hp submersible pump.
There was no generator room, animal troughs and elevator tank. The engine was operating minimum 18 hrs. consecutives which caused the constant break down. After assessment made by Sococo.co technical staff, generator room, two animal troughs are built.
The ground water is also rehabilitated heightened. Furthermore, brand new 25 KVA and 7.5 Hp Caparari submersible are installed

Pans are usually located in the grazing areas and along transhumance routes. Pans allow extended use of wet season grazing areas before livestock is moved to areas near permanent water sources. This activity will involve desilting an additional 3000m3 for each pan to increase the total capacity of each pan to about 5000 m3, depending on the current volume.
